Born in Hong Kong in July 1969, Tina Fu started writing music criticisms in 1988.  Her first published work appeared in the art magazine Crossover in 1992, which was made possible jointly by Hong Kong Philharmonic Society and Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Her works appear in various newspapers and magazines.  And her recent activities include as guest critic on radio.

From 1993 - 1995, she studied with the late famous critic and musicologist Prof. Shun-chi Ip.  In the broad range of music performances, her interest is, mostly, in violin playing, orchestral concerts and instrumental recitals.
